Website Down

My apologies to everyone for the recent inconvenience of my website and blog being down. My webhost, BlueHost.Com had a server crash and they took over 28 hours to replace it and restore all the websites on it. I’m not happy about it, but will tolerate this if this is a singular occurance. Anyhow, that was the reason you could not access this site the past 28 hours.

Beautiful Rescued Boxer

Well we had a treat tonite, we met Boozer for the first time. Boozer is a rescued Boxer that was brought home recently by Barry and his wife. Boozer is such a sweet boy, very, very well behaved and so friendly. Not that I’ve seen alot of mean Boxers in my day. My childhood pet was a Boxer mix and it was the most loyal friend a kid could ask for. Boozer is a rare boxer in that he, obviously is black and white. Normally Boxers are fawn or white or both. Okay, enough of the chatter, here is Mr. Boozer, standing proud.

Proud parents to be….

Just take a look at this couple and the images we created tonite. We had a great time creating some very special images for a very special couple. Anne and Bill are just too much fun and I’m sure are going to be just as fun parents for their little boy Jacob. I wish you two all the best in the world for your future plans with Jacob. Hope to get to meet him real soon. Here are a couple of images to hold you over til we get the rest of the images up! Thanks again for letting me be a part of this special time for you.

Fun family portraits in the sun

Had the pleasure of meeting the family of one of my son’s classmates today, Matthew “S” mom, pop and sis. I can tell you Saturday was one of the great reasons I love shooting outdoors, it was just a Chamber of Commerce type of day. The “S” family shoot got off to a great start with Matthew really showing how close he is to his older sister Katie.
We had tried to do this shoot last week, but the winds were so strong there was no way it would work with Katie’s hair. Today, there really weren’t any obstacles to over come, just get the family together and smile. These are just a couple of images to share with you until we can get the rest online. It was nice meeting your good looking family and so much fun to shoot. Now onto painting some pink toenails…..

Miss Tampa Teen bound!

I really need to learn how to utilize this blog differently, like posting images. Okay so I got carried away, but I really like these images.
Feel free to leave your comments here on the blog for Brianna, we’re all rooting for her right? Now for those of you that asked if she was married, I was told you’d have to speak to her momma bout that and from what I hear, she’s a pistol packin momma! Naw, just kiddin, I think.
Brianna will be competing in the Miss Tampa Teen here at the end of the month. Thought we’d share a few b&w headshots from last night.

Great News In Multiples

When I checked the mail today I was happy to hear from the Professional Photographers of America. They sent me notice that I had passed their certification test, despite the fact that I had half the amount of time everyone else did who took the test. I got to the test site close to an hour late for a two hour test and so I rushed to complete it in the allotted time, not wanting “special” treatment.
So now I am putting together a portfolio of 20 images for their review. Should those pass muster, I will have earned the title of Certified Professional Photographer. From there I will then begin entering competitions for awards and of course will start working on other degree’s offered by the Professional Photographers of America. This is an exciting time for me and it should be for my customers as they too will benefit.
On another note, the beautiful young lady in the preceding post made the cut for the pageant she is entering and is shooting for the stars! She has the potential to wins scholarships, cars, money and modeling contracts!!! We’re rooting for you Brianna, go for it.

Pageant Bound

I photographed Brianna tonight as she needed an image to give some local pageant officials. Well if all she has to worry about is looks, she’s certainly got as good chance as anybody. She is stunning young lady and so very personable, just like her Mom Judy. Here is just a preview of one of many images we captured tonight. A lovely young lady don’t you think? Online ordering is back up!

My apologies to anyone who has tried to view their galleries recently. Apparently the online galleries have been down for at least a week due to upgrades at my website host. I called them today and they quickly fixed the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks Mrs. Winter for causing me to check out the website, guess I need to keep an eye on this.
